Matt Guillory, Esq.![]()
Matt Guillory, a native of New Orleans, LA, received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University, before attending LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Initially, Matt was licensed to practice law in Louisiana. After moving to Chicago, he became licensed in Illinois, as well. Upon his return to New Orleans, he joined the senior leadership team of an all-male school (5th through 12th grades) in the Lower Ninth Ward. Later, Matt directed the fundraising operation for a faith-based organization dedicated to issues related to poverty and to the environment. After Hurricane Katrina, Matt moved to Oklahoma City to serve as a director at the American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma. He now serves as the Executive Director of Oklahoma Policy Institute and calls Oklahoma City home.

David Blatt, Ph.D.![]()
David’s work involves conducting research, writing papers, and giving public presentations on state budget and tax policy, poverty, asset development, and various other subjects. He is a founder and Chair of the Alliance for Oklahoma’s Future, a broad-based coalition geared at promoting fair and adequate budget and tax policy. David previously served for seven years as Director of Public Policy for Community Action Project of Tulsa County and for three years as a budget analyst for the State Senate. He has a Ph.D. in political science from Cornell University and a B.A. from the University of Alberta. He lives in Tulsa with his wife, Patty Hipsher, a political science professor at Oklahoma State University and their son, Noah.

Keri Beth Cain, M.A.![]()
Keri’s work involves informing legislators, interest groups, the public and the media about issues affecting the well-being of all Oklahomans. She also conducts research and writes papers on the same issues. Keri previously served as a policy analyst on criminal justice issues for the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices and as a legislative policy analyst in the budget division of the Department of Legislative Services of the Maryland General Assembly. She has also worked as a political consultant and campaigner on issue and candidate campaigns across the country at all levels. An Oklahoma native, Keri has a B.A. in Letters and a second B.A. with a major in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma, where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa. She also has an M.A. in Political Science from American University in Washington D.C. She lives in Norman but enjoys spending time at her family farm in Hughes County.
